Event Camp Sites - London 2012 Olympic Games

During the summer of 2012 the Club will be operating Event Camp Sites on behalf of various local authorities to coincide with the London 2012 Olympic Games. These camp sites will be in operation for no longer than 28 days and are open to both members and non-members.

All of the locations have been selected for their proximity to the Games, a specific event, or offer campers ease of access to the Olympic Park. All sites will offer good toilet and shower facilities, as well as additional services and activities, provided by local communities or businesses, to help deliver a great camping experience.

To support the Club in the operation of these sites, we are inviting Club members to volunteer to work with experineced Event Site Managers, to help provide an excellent friendly service to members and non-members camping on the sites.

Those selected will be fulfilling the role of Event Site Assistants, whose tasks will include welcoming campers to the site, pitching units in accordance with club Site Policies and other general site duties.
