Eastern Region of The Camping & Caravanning Club

Welcome to the new Eastern Region website - we hope you like it.

This site is very different to most sites you will find in that you can publish your own information here. As long as it is of interest to the members of the Camping and Caravanning Club and in particular members of Eastern Region.

Once you register with a user name and password you will be able to submit news items, stories or events and they will be checked by the website administrators and if found to be suitable they will be published onto the website.

If you are a District Association Committee Member we will give you additional user rights which include adding your own DA meets.

Eastern Region DA Site Secretaries are able to add their own meets to the website and make changes to them at a later date. Up to 6 "Special Events" are permitted and all of your Temporary Holiday Sites.

If you are a Site Secretary from a DA or Section outside of Eastern Region but are holding a Temporary Holiday Site within our region please ask us for temporary Site Secretary priveledges and let us know the THS venue and dates so that we can cross check them with the data we receive from HQ. 

Members of Eastern Region Council are permitted to add articles, meets, news or stories to the front page of the site without the article having to be approved.

Members of Eastern Region Executive Council have all the previous permissions plus the ability to remove any article from the front page that they feel is unsuitable.

PLEASE NOTE - If you intend on asking for additional user rights then please ensure that your user name is recognisable to us! It's no use logging on as wolfie1234 and then asking for Executive Council rights. We won't recognise your name and will not give you those rights.

Every time that new content is added to the website an email is sent to the webmaster. He will decide whether articles are relevant to the Camping and Caravanning Club or Eastern Region and whether they should be published.
